Tara L. Richerson began her public school teaching career in 1991. She has worked the k-12 spectrum supporting science education and educational technology. Tara has presented at national conferences for NSTA and ASCD on the topics of grading practices and data visualization. She has also participated with ScienceOnline, a national conference of science writers, bloggers, artists, and librarians to promote the use of social media in the sciences. In her all too spare time, Tara enjoys working on her house and garden, hanging out on Twitter, and napping in sunbeams.
